2012 Zipp 303 Firecrest Carbon Clincher Wheel set

303:Weight of the 303 clincher is a claimed 1498grams.
This might just be the perfect all round wheelset. Lightweight, aero clincher you can ride everyday. The new Zipp 303 Firecrest clincher takes advantage of the Firecrest shape of the 404 and 808 and delivers it in a lightweight more versatile wheel.
The new 303 remains 45mm deep and get's the bulbous Firecrest rim profile that is 28.5mm at widest and 26.2mm at the brake track.

Improved aerodynamics by about 8% over the prior model, giving it about a 78 second advantage over a 40km TT compared to a square-ish alloy rim (30mph at 300watts with 15 degree frontal crosswind).
Zipp are also offering a hub color option for 2012 so either black or the original grey/silver.
Wheels will ship with a pair Zipp's new carbon specific brake pads that are silver in color and promise to be yet another improvement in carbon braking performance.
